Who is Alphabet

Not a lot is known at this time, Google was bought, yes bought it seems, by a company that is themselves?  It is mad crazy to wrap my head around and digging isn't the easiest thing to do on such new information.  I will try to keep you up to date as I can but from what I am gathering here - Alphebet may just get spelled in all caps...

This article on the purchase of Google by a big time business publisher looks to not know a whole hell of a lot either.

A few hours later and these guys go into a lot of words on the subject once I can get to read it I will unless a good youtube video appears soon.

Update 08/11/2015 - learned earlier today that their website is https://abc.xyz/  cever eh?  This should help learn a bit more.

They intend on offering google stock owners a one to one transfer to Alphabet - Gary Lyons is still laughing at me saying BUY when it was at $85/share - to bad I didn't do it...
