The Hooverbike is almost here

I am not going to even try to pretend like I don't feel like a teenage girl at a Beatles concert in the 60's.  This is the friggen flying car, the hover bike, the Star Wars speed racer - the future again is here.

From what I gather, this is an idea made reality but the awesome powers of crowd funding. Started back in 2011 it has gained tremendous speed and has been talked about numerous times but the likes of gizmag: http://www.gizmag.com/hoverbike/18813/http://www.gizmag.com/hoverbike-kickstarter-drone/33057/, http://www.gizmag.com/closer-look-malloy-aeronautics-hoverbike/33414/ Business Insider: http://www.businessinsider.com/hoverbike-is-like-a-flying-motorcycle-2014-8, and Engadget: http://www.engadget.com/2014/08/25/robot-rides-hoverbike-drone/.

It is apparent that the hang up that stands between getting these things in our garages, (or hell, I'd park it in my living room), is the fact that legally it needs to be treated like a helicopter. This is going to make for a ton of bureaucratic red tap, probably hundreds of peoples eyes and pens and votes and blargh.. just take my money!

3D Printing will probably afford more than a few "rebel speeders" I am sure...
